Technical Team
The technical team is composed of senior members and young talents. Here is the brief introduction of the three senior members: Dr. Raymond CAO, Dr. Griff HAMLIN, and Michael HUTTO.
Dr. Raymond CAO
Dr. Raymond CAO is the Principal Engineer and Executive IT Director. His main projects are actually on e-commerce applications, and Systems/Network administration.
He is responsible for managing the technical operation of the enterprise network and servers to ensure the daily operation and keep the entire IT services 'live'. he oversees the implementation and rolling out of technical products and services.
In the early 1990s, Dr. Raymond CAO's work was on numerical simulation in engineering, asymptotic numerical method, parallel computing and IT administration. He developed software on numerical simulation of manufacturing processes, published scientific papers and led working groups for industrial projects. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, he worked together with Dr. Griff HAMLIN on one of the first web-based system administration software. In the recent years, he designed and developed a store management software in e-commerce. During all these years, Dr. Raymond CAO's career has been related to software development and Information Technology in different industries and research institutes. He worked, respectively, in Renault as Research & Development Engineer (France), in French National Scientific Research Center (CNRS) as Research Engineer in IT and scientific calculation, in Quik International, Inc. as Software Engineer and Systems Director, and in Quikdrop International, Inc. as Chief Technical Officer.
Dr. Raymond CAO received his Ph.D. in Engineering from Grenoble Institute of Technology, France.
Dr. Griff HAMLIN
Dr. Griff HAMLIN is the Technology Advisor. He focuses mainly on software development and project supervision.
His list of accomplishments is considerable. In the 1980s, he developed software in 3D graphics, one of the pioneers in the field. In the early 1990s, he was the main developer for the mathematics equation editor, which was integrated in Microsoft Word and then Microsoft Office. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, Dr. Griff HAMLIN designed and developed one of the first web-based system administration software. During all these years, he worked as Engineer in NASA Langley Research Center, Engineer in Los Alamos National Laboratory, Chief Scientist in Unicad, Inc., Co-founder of Design Science, Inc., Consultant in Unigraphics, and Vice President in Quik International, Inc.
Dr. Griff HAMLIN received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of North Carolina.
Michael HUTTO
Michael Hutto is the Support Director. His main focus is providing technical support for desktop/laptop enhancement, Windows configuration and network installation and management.
At customers' requests, he provides support and advices to customers about their IT needs. Mr. Hutto helps customers set up local area networks (wired or wireless) and firewall, repairs and tunes up desktop and laptop computers (virus/spyware removal, reconfiguration, etc). At the same time, he helps also customers set up local or networked printers and backup systems.
Mr. Hutto has been working in the IT services for more than 10 years. He has extensive experience in all Windows systems (Windows 95, 98, ME 2000, XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows server 2000, 2003 and 2008) and MAC OS. He is a certified SONY technician and very familiar with the most popular PC hardware brands such as SONY, HP, DELL, etc. In the recent years, he has been worked with different companies including Quik International, Nexicore Services, Barrister Global Network, and A+ Computer Aid.
Michael Hutto holds CompTIA's A+, Core and Network+ certifications from University of California at Irvine and has a natural customer service spirit.
